long time no talk!

Wow it has been a long time!!

The Fam Damily is moving. out of this normal sized house into a duplex. But don’t worry, i still have my own room! haha. It is an adorable home and it is the best one we have found by far!! We have to go to a new ward though. (I’m LDS) My family and i  have been going to the same ward since we were converted which was December 21st 2008. So, this will be a weird thing. BUT…my best friends Connor and David are going to be in my new ward!! I am STOKED about that haha.

Yesterday I had a good chat with Tyler’s (ex boyfriend) mom. Since moving is going to be such a weird experience for us, i wanted to get my family a good housewarming gift. Tyler’s mom makes signs!! http://www.snickerdoodlesigns.com/store check it out ….anyways, so, i asked her if she can make me one! it is going to say “Other things may change us, but we start and end with family” My family has been through a lot. My sister getting diagnosed with diabetes, converting to The Church of Latter-Day Saints, my brother moving out, my mom not working anymore yadda yadda yadda…and now the move. SOOOOO…i thought this would be a good idea

Remember me talking about the clothing designs with Stacie? Well i FINALLY set up a date to actually go to her shop and work WITH her to design on Wednesday. I am so excited!!

Lately all i have been talking about on here is graphics…so, i wanted to give you a couple weird facts about myself :

1. i lOVE music lyrics. i always relate them to my life and what is going on

2. yes, i am a twitter, youtube, and facebook nerd. also known as “TwitYourFace”

3. i am a very strong and proud member of the LDS church.

4. i have never ever dyed my hair

5. sarcasm makes me smile

6. modern country songs make me cringe

7. i REALLY want a Mac

8. i love singing, drawing, dancing, painting, doodling, coloring, taking pictures, and school projects, writing poetry and short stories. i am and artsy-type of person

9. i work at Vanity

10. i can work a riding lawnmower like nobodies business! (i worked at a golf course as a greenskeeper for about 4 years)

11. i am attending Spokane Falls Community College next year.

12. i text….a lot

14. No. I dont get high or drunk. I can just deal with my problems.

15. WHEN I READ A SENTENCE IN CAPS, THE VOICE IN MY HEAD IS YELLING

17. i usually have a hard time cleaning my room because of all the cool things i find.

18. i love the deep conversations at sleep overs when you are about to go to bed.

19. i shower naked.

20. i would much rather do nothing at your house than mine.

21. I LOVE GLEEEEEE. so much haha

22. i love listening to the music i listened to when i was 12. (backstreet boys, britney spears….you get the picture)

another scholarship

applying for another scholarship for college! called the Bear Boosters Scholarship for the arts….fingers crossed to get it! $750

gotta make a really impressive portfolio put together…

W.A.V.E. poster contest

i had to smoosh it smaller so the effects turned a bit crappy but, here is the final product and i won the contest!

WHAT A DAYYY!!!

oh my goodness. so much to say i can’t even bear it lol.

so…i’ll just number it so it can seem more simple haha

1. The choir sweatshirts i designed are finally printed

ya, that’s me wearing it. i just had to show you guys a physical form of it ya know? just click the picture so you can see it bigger and see the design better! the arm says “soprano” because i am a soprano! haha. ya, they came in and i was like, freaking out because they printed pretty well im very proud of the screen printers!

2. David is teaching me a song! hmmm possibly i can post recordings…? eh maybe. it’s just something i want to learn. i don’t want to be a piano player, but it does give me more time with my very best friend. he is amazing at piano and leaves me jaw dropped every time! but, i got the first two bars i think down. it’s fun i’ll tell you once David gets annoyed of my slow learning hahaha

3. So, a while ago, i applied for a scholarship called the W.A.V.E. and i was granted a $500 scholarship to any washington college because i won!!! website for more info on what it is –> http://www.wtb.wa.gov/Documents/2009PosterContestAnnouncement.pdf

(my poster is not being advertised yet) so tomorrow i have to go to one of my graphic designing instructors and get the electronic version of the design and send in a picture of myself! ill post a picture of it once i got it on my home computer.

4. So, i have been working with a company “ideal wedding bands” for a while now and the owner of it is Carson Michael. he is super nice and cool and yup! he wants to pay me for all i have done. but, instead of cash he was wanting to buy me a macbook pro….A MACBOOK PRO!!! freakin gosh its so awesome hahaha. i have been on apple.com for the last hour just looking up what i want lol. SO STOKED!!! ill tell you the results once we figure it all out

that is basically it haha. tomorrow i will have plenty more to add so…stay tuned!!

what a LONG week

sorry for no posts! i have had such a busy spring break!! never had ONE lazy day. anyways, the lady i was supposed to design for, has been super swamped with projects too…so we still need to have another meeting so i can design with her! I haven’t made any designs for her lately but i’ll post a couple designs a made for a guy and his “band productions”.

he liked the top one best! i liked the bottom one better, but, the other one fit his style more i think. anyways, work at vanity is going good. finally used to the cash register haha! now it’s hard to work at a retail store because i just want to shop the whole time hahaha!

school tomorrow….ugh. the only thing im looking forward to is that the sweatshirts i designed might be done and ready to hand out tomorrow

Well…wow

Man, what a crazy last couple if days. Finished the posters for a gold buying event, and started my new job at vanity! I’m getting the hang of it but it was very very very hard at first…I hope the team likes me…or learns to like me haha!

Anyways, I gotta get kore designs going for the lady making clothes! That wil be my goal tomorrow

This weekend I have a dance to go to and whatnot so yay! Hopefully Stacie will get back to me on those designs. I need feedback ya know?? Anyways, bed time. School tomorrow. Shoot me now.

i got word back from the lady whom i was sending designs to for the clothes! she loves em. Now she is sending me a logo to mess with and make it look cooler!

finally more work…and feedback! Going to make a quilt tonight and tomorrow….my first day at work (vanity)so nervous!

Chatted like old women in Senior Seminar today (6th period) Ugh…i heard the latest gossip and so disgusting. I wont mention what it is, because im (no one) is supposed to know about it. but…its definitely weird…anyways…

Tomorrow my friends and I are going to be making quilts and no, 17 is not too young to get into quilting haha! Anyways, got fabric today and finally got my job hours for Vanity. Its a girl’s retail store in our mall. aaaaand I gave my prom dress to a lady so she can fix it today was a very productive day
